Dr. Caracioni is a very caring and competent professional. He stays up to date with what is going on in his field and acts on new information to improve care. When my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year, she chose KU Meds St Francis campus for her care. Dr. C made an excellent impression early on, and our dealings with him since have only improved our opinion. My wife suffered a serious infection during her treatment, which led to her treatment being paused for an extended period. When we came back, Dr C re-evaluated and changed her treatment plan to one that had much less severe side effects. He has been a great help in our journey through this trial.
