About Sarah Pederson PA
Sarah provides comprehensive vascular care including diagnosis, treatment, education and prevention of various vascular disease states. She also assists in management of hypertension, hyperlipidemia and other comorbidities that might worsen cardiac complications in her patients. Sarah takes special interest in patient education and ensuring her patients understand their diagnosis and what steps they need to take to improve their health.
She says, “My true passion is education patients on lifestyle modifications and implementing tangible plans to help them accomplish their goals. I am always proud of my patients when they succeed in their goals and, in turn, make positive changes to their health.”
Sarah is a Topeka native and, after a brief stint away from home, returned to the community she loves. She and her husband have a son who they enjoy spending time outdoors with. Sarah also enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and serving at their local church.

I have to say this visit was one of the best I've ever experienced! Sarah explained everything.why she was asking certain questions, explained how she got to her conclusion, explained treatment plan thoroughly, gave me reading Info about medication, explained timeline and what to expect when I begin medication. She asked if I had questions; very respectfully listened and answered my questions. Encouraged me to call or use MyChart if I had more questions/concerns. Eye contact excellent.

I as very pleased with Sarah Pederson. I had several questions which she answered to the best of her ability. She responded with direct, courteous answers. When I informed her that on some issues of my health care I had obtained a second (and third) opinion, she was supportive of my decision(s) based on those consultations, even if they did not agree with my primary cardiologist's assessment and prescribed treatment plan. I found this professional as well as respectful of not just my decision, but the professional judgements of others in the medical profession. Throughout the visit Sarah discussed with me risks as well as fully involved me in what are my healthcare decisions, based on balancing research based information and quality of life decisions. I found this refreshing and is greatly appreciated.
