Leanna Streit Anderson is a family nurse practitioner in cardiology who takes a patient-first approach to care. She focuses on delivering respectful, compassionate support tailored to each person’s needs. She values listening, building trust and using evidence-based practices to help patients reach their health goals.

She brings a well-rounded perspective from her experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Leanna is especially passionate about helping patients take an active role in their health through prevention and wellness and works to support those who may face challenges navigating the health care system.

Leanna began her health care journey in high school as a certified nursing assistant, where she discovered a love for connecting with patients and delivering hands-on care. That early experience, combined with a fascination for the science behind disease processes, led her to pursue nursing. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Washburn University in Topeka and is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.

Outside of work, Leanna enjoys gardening, baking, walking and spending time with her husband and their two children.
