Cancer Center

Our mission: Your cancer’s remission.

We aren’t just any team of dedicated providers; we’re your team. We are committed to fighting with you and for you, every step of the way. The Cancer Center at The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus delivers exceptional, compassionate treatment close to home.

We were the first in the Topeka area to be accredited as a Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons. Our certified Cancer Center is the premier facility for advanced radiation treatment in the region, providing a full range of cancer care services, including surgery and chemotherapy.

We have state-of-the-art equipment and therapies to offer our community the best in cancer care. We offer a PET/CT, the most advanced cancer diagnostic equipment in Kansas, as well as Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), an innovative, noninvasive therapy that precisely targets tumors so that healthy tissues are protected. St. Francis Campus Cancer Center was also the first hospital in Kansas to use the TomoTherapy® Hi•Art® radiation treatment system, a CT scanner that gives real-time 3D images of the body and the tumor. Treatment can be adjusted before each treatment to adapt to changes in the body and in the location, size and shape of the tumor.

At the St. Francis Campus, you get world-class care, right here in your community. For more information about our cancer services or specialists, call 785-295-7800.
