About John Joliff MD

Dr. Joliff never considered any other career path — he knew he wanted to be a physician. Interacting daily with patients, helping them overcome a heart attack, seeing a healthy patient years later are all reasons why he feels fulfilled while caring for others. Dr. Joliff studied to become an interventional cardiologist through a residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and a cardiology fellowship at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. He’ll often start a care appointment by asking a patient what he or she does for fun, because getting patients back to doing those activities is the ultimate goal. Outside the office, Dr. Joliff is an avid golfer and also enjoys volunteering and attending church with his wife.
