About Sarah Pederson PA

Sarah Pederson, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in vascular and vein care. She received her bachelor’s degree biochemistry from Washburn University and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.

Sarah provides comprehensive vascular care including diagnosis, treatment, education and prevention of various vascular disease states. She also assists in management of hypertension, hyperlipidemia and other comorbidities that might worsen cardiac complications in her patients. Sarah takes special interest in patient education and ensuring her patients understand their diagnosis and what steps they need to take to improve their health.

She says, “My true passion is education patients on lifestyle modifications and implementing tangible plans to help them accomplish their goals. I am always proud of my patients when they succeed in their goals and, in turn, make positive changes to their health.”

Sarah is a Topeka native and, after a brief stint away from home, returned to the community she loves. She and her husband have a son who they enjoy spending time outdoors with. Sarah also enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and serving at their local church.
