About Natalee Yochum, PA-C
Natalee Yochum, PA-C, has passion for patient-centered care. She holds a master of science in physician assistant studies from Kansas State University, where she was part of the inaugural cohort of the program. Her academic journey also includes a bachelor of business administration with a healthcare management emphasis from Northwestern State University. Natalee is an active member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants.
Nataleeโs approach to patient care is deeply influenced by her personal experiences as a patient. She believes in the importance of patient autonomy and strives to foster a strong patient-provider relationship. Her own history with health challenges has shaped her understanding of the uncertainty and vulnerability patients often feel. She is committed to being a transparent and supportive partner in her patients’ healthcare journeys, ensuring they are well-informed and empowered to make decisions about their own health.
Nataleeโs diverse medical interests include suturing techniques, womenโs health, dermatology, gastroenterology, preventative care and pediatrics. Her training in integrative medicine enhances her approach, emphasizing evidence-based practices that prioritize nutrition, mental health and the immune system.
Outside of her professional life, Natalee is a writer and artist, currently working on the fourth book of a historical fiction series she began in 2020. She also enjoys spending time with her two Dachshunds and calico cat. Originally from southeast Oklahoma, Natalee feels fortunate to have pursued her medical education in Kansas, where she found her calling in family medicine.
