Cheryl Dultmeier, ARNP, FNP-C, received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Washburn University School of Nursing, Topeka, Kansas and her master's degree in nursing and family nurse practitioner from the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. She joined the Women's Center at The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in 2001 after previously working as a staff nurse for the hospital. She performs routine OB/GYN procedures — but because she gets to know each patient as an individual, no day is “routine.” Cheryl understands that all patients have individual needs and believes they should be active participants in understanding and managing their health. Cheryl and her husband, Chuck, are lifelong Topekans and have two children and five grandchildren.
