Current Areas of Interest in pharmacy practice: I’m still trying to figure this out, but I enjoyed my time spent in the ED and ICU during my time here as an APPE student.
Why I chose The University of Kansas Health System- St. Francis Campus: I chose this institution because I really appreciate the relationships this pharmacy team has with all other departments here due to this being a relatively smaller hospital. I also really enjoyed my time here as an APPE student and thought this pharmacy team would be a great fit for me.
Professional Goal(s): After completing my residency, I would like to work as a clinical pharmacist in the inpatient setting for a considerable amount of time to refine my clinical skills. From that point on I am still trying to figure out my long-term goals, but I really enjoyed a rotation in managed care that I had this previous year, so exploring that field is something I have wanted to do.
Unique fact about myself: I can play the piano
