About Shawna Isakson, DNP

Shawna Isakson, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner specializing in cardiovascular disease. She received her bachelor’s degree and doctorate degree in nursing from Washburn University. Prior to receiving her doctorate in nursing, Shawna worked as a registered nurse for 11 years. She enjoys all aspects of her work and building therapeutic relationships with her patients.

Shawna is a native of Rossville, KS and now resides in Topeka with her husband, three children, two dogs and cat. In her free time, she enjoys DIY projects, gardening, reading, shopping, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
