Brandi Clifton is a nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine and provides primary care services for patients of any age or gender, including but not limited to routine checkups, patient education and disease diagnosis and management.
She completed her undergraduate coursework and nursing pre-requisites at the University of Kansas and received both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Saint Luke’s College in Kansas City. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Brandi worked as a registered nurse for 10 years. She specialized in cardiology, including cardiovascular intensive care and cardiovascular surgery where she cared for cardiac patients and scrubbed for open heart surgeries, heart transplants and lung and vascular surgeries.
Because of her strong background in cardiology, she takes special interest in the heart health of her patients. “My favorite part about my job is having the opportunity to contribute to improving the quality of life of my patients.”
Brandi is a native of Gardner, KS where she currently resides with her two sons, Easton and Beckett, and their three dogs, two cats and whatever other creatures her boys bring home. In her spare time, she can be found cheering on her sons at their various athletic activities, practices and games or at the Lake of the Ozarks. As a former athlete herself, she enjoys anything athletic or active – mainly golf or softball – when time allows.
