As a WOC and being non-binary, I was very timid and lost within my first pregnancy. I had switched OBGYN’s twice before I saw her and she was very gentle yet firm on how to go about things. I felt validated, cared for, and able to ask questions with her.

Dr. Tate is very cool, and funny. She makes serious situations easier to deal with cuz she's nice and she explains things in very simple terms and I love it. She listens to what you actually are talking about and then she actually talks about what you were talking about and how to deal with it or the steps to take care of it. And she make sure you understand what the situation is and make sure you don't leave if you don't understand 99.9% the situation. She makes sure to tell you that if you have any questions to either call or go to MyChart and leave a message and she gets back to you as soon as she can. Dr Laura Tate is the best gynecologist I could ever ask for.

Dr. Tate delivered my daughter last summer. As she oversaw my pregnancy, I was always impressed with her kindness, knowledge and even timelines. I never had to wait long past my appointment time to be seen. I never felt rushed when she was there and she always explained things well. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Every provider at the women's center is wonderful. Dr. Tate takes the time to listen to your concerns, and she explains things in a way that are easy to understand. She is very kind and really makes her patients feel comfortable.

She is an excellent listener, which can be a bit harder for otherwise knowledgeable physicians. I was comfortable with her as soon as she entered the room. She explained things in detail. She felt from the ultra sound images that things are okay. Told me what to watch for if there were changes and said I could come back in a year. Recommended me her to my daughter and her daughter.

Dr Laura Tate is fantastic - a major asset to the KU Medical Center St Francis team. She is professional yet personable, thorough, goes above and beyond, and incredibly kind. There is never a long wait before being called in for office visits and she takes the time to answer all questions you have during your appointment. She recently delivered our first child and made it a smooth, wonderful process. Highly recommended!
